On December 16, the production team of Genie TV’s original drama “Namib” (written by Eom Sung-min, directed by Han Sang-jae and Kang Min-gu) announced that Go Hyun-jung would not attend the press conference of the drama.
Go Hyun-jung was originally scheduled to join fellow cast members Ryeoun, Yoon Sang-hyun, and Lee Jin-woo to introduce the drama at the event.

“Namib” follows the story of Kang Soo-hyun (played by Go Hyun-jung), a fired star producer, and Yoo Jin-woo (played by Ryeoun), an abandoned long-term apprentice, as they team up to pursue their respective objectives. The drama is scheduled to premiere on December 23.
