Go Hyun-jung Opens Up About Recovering Health: “Major Surgery Completed Successfully… It Was Painful Beyond Saying”

On January 6, Go Hyun-jung posted on his account: “Hi, I’m sorry for causing you concern. I have recovered significantly. Now I eat well and also meet close friends,” providing a glimpse into its current condition.

He continued, “I suffered more than I could have imagined, but now that I have successfully completed major surgery, I feel more clear-headed. I’ll take better care of myself moving forward” he said, adding: “The first photo is how I look today. I love you all. I sincerely bow my head in gratitude for your support and concern.”

Go Hyun-jung also shared photos and videos of herself in the hospital. He showed moments of receiving treatment, eating meals and smiling as he regained his strength, reassuring his fans.

On December 16, Go Hyun-jung sparked concern when he suddenly announced his absence, just two hours before the press conference for Genie TV’s original drama “Namib.” At the time, his agency explained, “She collapsed in the morning and was rushed to the emergency room. Her health was deteriorating and she had previously collapsed several times on set.

Subsequently, on December 24, he posted on his account, “Merry Christmas to all. Thanks to your concern, I feel much better,” and added, “I can’t express how much strength your kind words gave me.” However, he noted, “I’m still hospitalized” and promised, “I will recover quickly. Good evening.”
