Actress Go Hyun-jung is facing criticism for ignoring concert etiquette by filming a limited portion of Davichi’s concert on January 25 at KSPO DOME in Seoul.
Despite the strict no-filming rules announced before and during the show, Go Hyun-jung uploaded a video clip to his personal social media account, showing the moment Davichi appeared on stage during the show, riding a moon-shaped prop while singing “Don’t Say Goodbye.” While the video may have seemed harmless at first glance, it clearly violated the event’s policies.
The concert had a well-publicized policy: no photos and no videos during the main show. Staff members reportedly made frequent announcements to reinforce this concept, and Davichi’s Kang Min-kyung even clarified during the encore that filming was only allowed at that point.
Go’s decision to share footage taken before the allowed time sparked disappointment, with many chastising the actress for ignoring the rules and displaying bad manners to the public. The incident was in stark contrast to that of other celebrities in attendance – Song Hye-kyo, Park Sol-mi and Shin Hyun-ji – who respectfully waited until the encore to post their own photos from the concert, demonstrating proper concert etiquette.
Davichi, known for their powerful vocals and strong fan base, continue to solidify their status with another successful concert at the KSPO DOME, marking their second consecutive year of selling out a major venue. However, Go Hyun-jung’s lack of judgment slightly overshadowed what would otherwise have been a celebratory event, spurring larger conversations about respect and responsibility, even among other stars.
