On September 13, the production company of the musical show “Chicago” officially announced the changes in the cast via their social media account.
In particular, S&Co. stated: “Due to an injury suffered by actress Tiffany Young during her portrayal of Roxie, the cast was changed as follows,” and provided the revised performance schedule.
The performances scheduled for September 15 at 2:00 PM and 6:30 PM, as well as the one on the 18th at 2:00 PM, will now feature Ivy as Roxie instead of Tiffany Young. The performance on the 21st at 2:00 PM will feature Min Kyung-ah as a replacement.
Tiffany Young had already injured her finger during a performance of “Chicago”.
After hearing the news of Tiffany Young’s injury and the cast changes, fans expressed their concern with comments like “I wish you a speedy recovery,” “Get well soon,” AND “This is worrying.“
Meanwhile, the 2024 production of “Chicago” began performances on September 7 and will continue to run through September 29 at the D-Cube Art Center.
