He did not hide his regrets.

As they discuss their shared experiences as interns under SM EntertainmentThe three idols began talking about fixed positions in group choreography, a practice that is less strictly followed for idol groups nowadays. Eunhyuk recalled being suddenly removed from the center position and pushed to the edge during a choreography session, confessing that the experience was initially shocking for him.
The singer, however, admitted that after reviewing their performance, he realized that Siwon He brought choreography to the center in a way that it could not. He presented with humor, “Their judgment was perfect!”
Sooyoung also mentioned that for the choreography of Girls’ Generations, Joy, YuriAND Seohyun He often occupied the central seats, but initially he didn’t give it much importance.
“As we continued promoting,” Sooyoung later explained, “I I was wondering if I might have a chance too,” talking about how he ultimately let her down.
Speaking specifically about their group’s hit song, “Genie,” Sooyoung joked, “I have legs too, so I wondered why I wasn’t given this opportunity.”
Sooyoung jokingly criticized the managers’ decision to have the same member at the center, saying, “Everyone knows that Yoona is beautiful. Who doesn’t know that?” adding, “I thought, Couldn’t I have a little more screen time, like 3 seconds?“
But now, looking back, Sooyoung admits that the executives’ decision to have specific members as centers was a “without rivals” strategy.
