The popular fifth generation girl group TrippleS has recently come under fire following a recent music show win and their subsequent encore performance.
In the November 5 edition of The showone of the tripleS units, Visionary visionwas named along with STAYC and Kep1er. Visionary vision it ultimately won with the highest score of the three and was the first unit to secure a victory.

Unfortunately, their encore performance left Korean listeners completely disappointed.
Commentators questioned the group’s vocal ability, harshly criticizing them for what some felt was an “awkward” performance.
- “This is the worst so far…”
- “Are all 24 of them like this…? I don’t really know this song, but there were a few other songs that I thought were good. What happened to the voice here?”
- “Oh… that’s uncomfortable to listen to. I had to stop.”
- “They’re so out of tune I can’t even figure out what the melody is. Isn’t this their song? I’ve never seen a group perform so poorly together before.
- “They are not singers. And it seems like they’re trying to avoid singing by doing other things on stage, which… makes them look more pathetic.”
- “Even if it was a dance unit, they should have at least added a lead singer.”
- “A moment of silence…”
In the time elapsed since the encore, member Nakyoung he shared his apology.
In a series of messages on a fan chat platform, Nakyoung thanked fans while also apologizing for what he called a “disappointing” encore stage.
- “We got 1st place today, but I’m sorry for showing a disappointing side during the encore phase.”
- “It’s such a happy day, but still…”
- “I’m a little sorry that I wasn’t able to show a performance worthy of 1st place.”
- “I will train harder and work harder to become a prouder TripleS!”
