(G)I-DLE‘S Soyeon He recently confessed that he wants to undergo cosmetic surgery.
On December 18, KST, Soyeon appeared in a YouTube series of video calls YONGTAROT where he consulted the comedian Lee Yong Jin for a tarot reading.
The first question he asked while reading was about this cosmetic procedure. The (G)I-DLE leader asked: “When should I have double eyelid surgery?” When Lee asked her why she felt the need to do this, Soyeon replied, implying that she saw it as inevitable.
The rapper explained it Even though she’s used double eyelid tape as part of her makeup routine, she hasn’t always needed it. “As you get older, things start to go down little by little,” he added, underlining the reason he started using eyelid tape in the first place.
“So people kept saying, ‘If you keep this up, you’ll have to do it later,’” Soyeon elaborated. However, he also explained why he hadn’t done it yet despite thinking about it for a long time. “I should just get double eyelid surgery quick, but I’m too scared to do it,” the idol confessed.
As Lee Yong Jin spread three tarot cards on the table, he began to interpret their message in the context of Soyeon’s speech and correctly guessed that she had been debating how to do so for a long time. She exclaimed, agreeing: “For four years!”
The comedian ultimately suggested that Soyeon should undergo the surgery in early 2025, stating: “Once you finish all the challenging stuff, if you do it early next year, it will be a game-changer for you.” The idol agreed again, revealing that he planned to do so at that time.
Oddly enough, Soyeon’s strong belief in tarot reading caught Lee completely off guard. He joked: “She really likes it too much. This is not good,” causing her to burst into laughter.
