During the MAMA Awards 2024, (G)I-DLE‘S Minnie I took this lovely photo with the heartthrob Hi Woo Seoksending the internet into a frenzy. She posed intimately with him, with Byeon Woo Seok even bending over to accommodate his height. They seemed like the perfect couple!
During a recent episode of Apashayo with Generation of girls‘S HyoyeonMinnie explained how the photo came about. Minnie had sung the OST Lovely runnerthe drama that catapulted Byeon Woo Seok to fame.
Minnie had been the first to approach him for the photo.

I can’t say I was close to him, but I really wanted to meet him. Since I sang the OST, I obviously loved the drama too. So I really wanted to see it and I had the chance during MAMA. I was the first to ask for a photo. We passed each other, said hello and made eye contact. He was the first to say thank you [for singing the OST]and I also said thank you. I asked for a photo if he had time later, and he agreed. That’s how we took the photo.
