Ghost9 (Korean: 고스트나인; Japanese: Ghost Nine) is a group of boys under Maroo Entertainment, initially debuting with nine members: Junhyung, Shin, Kangsung, Junseong, Prince, Woojin, Jinwoo, Dongjun and Toeseung.
Before their debut, several members had obtained public recognition through various survival programs. In addition, Woojin, Jinwoo and Toeseung previously promoted together as the “Teen Teen” trio. The group officially entered the music scene in September 2020 with their first EP, “pre episode 1: door”.

Career
Ghost9 made their official debut under Maroo Entertainment on September 23, 2020, with their first mini album, “pre episode 1: door”. The group originally had nine members, including Woojin, Jinwoo and Taeseung, who had previously debuted as part of the “Teen Teen” unit. Just a few months later, they maintained their momentum by releasing their second mini album, “pre episode 2: W.All”, on 10 December 2020.
In 2021, Ghost9 continued their discography with the third mini album, “Now: Where We Are, Here”, published on March 11th. They followed “Now: When we are in Love” on June 3, demonstrating their musical diversity. However, on September 5, the members Hwang Dongjun and Lee Taeseung announced their departure, reducing the group to seven members. Despite the change of training, Ghost9 insisted forward with the release of their fifth mini album, “Now: Who We We Defin”, on November 25th. Closing the year, they announced their first tour in the United States, scheduled at the beginning of 2022.
Giving the way to 2022, Ghost9 has undertaken their “[Into The Now] Meet & Live Tour in Us ”, performing in four cities. The tour characterized concerts, busking events and fans purchases, further expanding their international scope. On April 7, they returned with their sixth mini album, “Arcade: V”, on display their art in evolution.
After a short break, Ghost9 returned in October 2023 with their seventh mini album, “Arcade: O”, published on October 25th. This return highlighted their refined sound and artistic growth, consolidating their identity in the sector.
In 2024, Ghost9 ventured into digital individuals, expanding their music catalog. On June 6 they published “Awesome Day”, their first single digital album, bringing fresh and vibrant energy. Closing the year, they followed down for you on December 23, further diversifying their discography.

- More than half of the members participated in the survival programs. Junseong, Woojin and Jinwoo competed in “Produce X 101”, while his son Junhyung appeared on “Mixnine”.
- Members born in Soul include Shin, Junhyung, Junseong and Woojin. The members of other provinces include Kangseong and Jinwoo. Prince is the only foreign member, coming from Thailand.
- The symbolic character of the group, Gleez, was created independently of Maroo Entertainment.
- Ghost9 was the first K-Pop group to keep their debut on the roof of building 63. For their second return showcase of Mini-Album, they performed on the roof of Haeundae Doosan, we have Zenith, gaining them the nickname “idols of skyscrapers”.
