‘Gaslighting Controversy’ Kim Jung-hyun Opens Up About Living With Family ‘No Time For Dating’

On the October 6th broadcast of SBS’s “My Little Old Boy,” Kim Jung-hyun appeared as a special MC, candidly sharing stories about his recent life and communicating with fans.

Kim Jung-hyun started by talking about his role in KBS2’s weekend drama “Iron Family.” He then thanked MC Shin Dong-yup for warm advice he had given him in the past. Kim Jung-hyun recalled: “There was a high school student who dreamed of becoming a comedian, and when I asked Shin Dong-yup, the senior, how one could become a comedian, he said, “Work hard, I will cheer you on.”

He added ironically “At that time, the old man’s eyes seemed a little blurry“, provoking laughter from the audience. He expressed gratitude by saying: “But thanks to those words, my junior gained great courage.”

Kim Jung-hyun also revealed that he still lives with his parents. Currently residing with his older brother and younger sister, Kim Jung-hyun admitted “I don’t have time or space to date” and added: “I don’t bring anyone home.” He jokingly remarked: “Even though I live with my family, the others seem to get out fine.”

MC Shin Dong-yup jokingly asked, “If you brought someone home, would you tell your brother or sister to leave?“Kim Jung-hyun replied”I don’t think that would ever happen“, eliciting laughter.
