On the November 10th episode of SBS variety show Running Man, BIGBANG’s GD (G-Dragon) was mentioned.
Rami and Rora from BABYMONSTER, real high school students, appeared as guests. They were introduced as the youngest members of YG Entertainment.
In particular, Rami and Rora said they had dreamed of becoming celebrities since they were young. Rami said she started as a child model at age 2, worked as a model until she was 12, and then entered the entertainment industry.
When asked if her parents were in the industry, Rami replied, “My mother almost debuted in a girl group and also participated in the National Singing Competition.” Rora added that her mother was a former pianist.
Kim Jong-kook also humorously shared: “I recently discovered that my mother went out a lot and had a lot of fun in Myeongdong“, making everyone laugh. Ji Suk-jin and Yoo Jae-suk added humor, saying: “Our fathers were real pranksters.”
Kim Dong-jun said his mother was a former track athlete. Song Ji-hyo said that her mother was a former swimmer, proving her athletic heritage. Yang Se-chan shared: “My grandfather’s dream was to be a comedian,” and everyone was amused, saying, “DNA doesn’t really lie.“
At the end of the episode, BABYMONSTER’s Rami and Rora were asked which YG senior treats them best. They replied: “We met G-Dragon just a few days ago,” to which Kim Jong-kook said: “Why hasn’t he appeared in Running Man yet? He went to You Quiz on the Block“, expressing his disappointment. He added: “We don’t ride in rice fields anymore, so come on Running Man,” shouting at G-Dragon.
