Singer G-Dragon will release a solo album in February, his first in over a decade since 2012. Coup d’état.
In an interview with TenAsia, the singer confirmed his long-awaited comeback just a few weeks away.
“It is true that the company is making plans, but nothing has been decided for sure,” said Galaxy Corporation, the metaverse AI company representing G-Dragon.
While its label was reluctant to confirm or deny details, the company has a long history of leaving things ambiguously defined.
In September, when it was said that G-Dragon’s single would be released in October, the company denied the claims.
“The return date is undetermined and the schedule has not been confirmed,” the label said, but the singer subsequently released the track “POWER” on October 31.
“POWER,” released after a seven-year hiatus, topped iTunes in 16 countries and broke a 2024 record by surpassing 83,000 listeners in the first hour of its release on Melon.
