Girl group Fromis_9 will say goodbye to fans forever with a new single, “from,” released on Monday, December 23rd.
The song marks the official end of their relationship with label Pledis Entertainment, as their contracts expire on December 31st.
The single is described by Pledis as “a fan song that expresses the members’ gratitude to their fandom, Flover, for years of support.”

All members of the group earned credits on the track, with member Hayoung contributing composition to the track and all eight members – Saerom, Hayoung, Jiwon, Jisun, Seoyeon, Chaeyoung, Nagyung and Jiheon – earning collaboration credits.
“We put our hearts into writing this song as a letter to Flover,” Fromis_9 said through their agency. “We hope our sincerity reaches you and warms your hearts this winter. May this song blend seamlessly into your memories, bringing smiles and joy wherever you are.”
Fromis_9 debuted in 2018 through Mnet’s survival reality show School of idolswhere the girl group members were chosen from 41 female contestants. The members were selected almost manually by the show’s audience, who assigned the girls their respective rankings.
Pledis Entertainment has announced that Fromis_9 will complete their remaining schedules until the end of this year before the end of their contract, with the members’ future plans not yet revealed.
