On November 15, Seunghan’s agency SM Entertainment released an official statement saying, “Seunghan is currently preparing to debut as a solo artist in the second half of 2025.”
They added: “He is receiving full support and guidance on several aspects considered essential for a solo debut, including systematic training, production, management and more. We kindly ask for your warm support and attention as this new chapter begins.“
Seunghan previously stopped activities in late November last year after a controversy in his personal life involving leaked photos showing him in bed with a woman, just 70 days after RIIZE debuted.
Despite announcing his return on October 11, RIIZE fans strongly protested by sending condolence wreaths to the SM building, leading to the official announcement of his departure from the group just two days later.
