Former LE SSERAFIM member Kim Garam, who withdrew from the group in 2022 following allegations of school bullying, surprised the public with his new personal update. Kim made a glamorous debut with THE SERAPHINS in May 2022, but her career came to an abrupt end when allegations surfaced that she had behaved inappropriately during middle school. After a heated controversy, he eventually left the group and ended his contract. Despite this, he continued to pursue an entertainment path by enrolling in an acting major.
Recently, Ex THE SERAPHINS member Kim Garam has officially launched his YouTube channel, marking his first major step towards reconnecting with fans after leaving the group. The channel is expected to feature personal updates and lifestyle content, giving viewers a glimpse into his daily life. With this new platform, Garam appears to be starting a new chapter while building a more direct connection with the audience.
Last year, Kim Garam posted several new photos to her personal account, accompanied by a simple heart emoji. In the images, she is wearing a soft white knitted oversized sweater paired with a black skirt, exuding a delicate and innocent charm. With noticeably longer straight hair and bright, clear eyes, she proved that her idol images remain unchanged. A park setting at dusk, with bare winter trees and warm lights, added a dreamy, serene atmosphere that emphasized her tranquil presence.

Fans flooded the comments with reactions like: “I missed you,” “When can we see you again?” AND “He could return as an idol right now, his visuals are still high level.”
Kim Garam was embroiled in controversy shortly after her debut teaser dropped, when online communities accused her of involvement in school bullying. At the time, her agency Source Music denied the allegations, claiming that she had been the victim rather than the perpetrator. However, former classmates later released photos and documents indicating he had received disciplinary action, escalating the public backlash. Ultimately, on July 20, 2022, just two months after debuting, Kim Garam’s contract was terminated and his departure from THE SERAPHINS was announced.
She’s not the first idol to leave a group due to allegations of school bullying. In February 2021, ex laze around Member Soojin faced similar accusations when a netizen claimed that their younger brother had suffered severe abuse from her during middle school. Actress Seo Shin Ae then added that she too had been mistreated by Soojin, shocking the audience. By March 2022, Cube Entertainment officially terminated Soojin’s contract, stating that although she denied the allegations, she expressed a desire not to cause further harm to her team.
