Former child actress Jeon Sung Cho announced her pregnancy!
In a letter shared on Instagram, the former actress shared the news and photos of a pregnancy test and ultrasound. In the post, she revealed that she had already had a miscarriage in 2024, almost a year earlier and that they found out about her pregnancy while she was on holiday in Australia.
What a rollercoaster year 2024 has been. Exactly one year ago we were supposed to say goodbye to our honeymoon baby at 17 weeks. And now, after a year, I finally share mine “I’m pregnant” moment. 🐍
Right after we got married we experienced so many ups and downs that I almost don’t know how I made it through 2024. We also set a personal record with 12 trips abroad in one year. Even though I worry that I’ve neglected those around me, I think I just wanted to indulge in a little selfishness after all the hardships. Within the new confines of marriage, I wanted to focus more on myself and my partner. Looking back, I think we did a great job living our lives to the fullest.
The loss of our son a year ago left me in a state of lethargy for quite a while. Even now, with all the heartbreaking news in the world, I sometimes feel a creeping fear about the future. I don’t know what the new year will bring, but I’m sure that, just like last year, my partner and I will face each challenge side by side, one step at a time.
We found out we were expecting this new baby on a trip to Sydney, Australia, so we decided to give him the nickname ‘Sydney.” Sydney, let’s do our best together!

Jeon Sung Cho was active as a child actress in the ’90s and early ’00s, appearing in children’s programs such as Communist fairy. After being a child actress, Jeon studied abroad, learning English, and began working as a reporter and journalist.
According to her LinkedIn account, she currently works as an interpreter and married her non-famous husband in 2023.
