“On January 24, 2026, I suddenly had many good opportunities scheduled from late January to February, with many appointments. Wanting to look more beautiful, I received 600 sleeping Shurink lifting injections.”
Alongside her post, she shared photos showing severe burn damage on both cheeks and neck. Along with the post, he revealed photos showing severe burns on both cheeks and neck. She described the moment she woke up, saying: “When I opened my eyes, I felt a pain as if my skin had been torn. I cried and asked to see a mirror, and my skin peeled off layer by layer from the burns, curling up. There were fluids leaking out and blisters. It was really devastating.”
He continued, “Since last month, they haven’t asked me to sign a sedation consent form, an information consent form about the procedure, or even asked if they could take photos. I never received a skin exam or diagnosis before the procedure. There wasn’t even any explanation, but they said that since I signed a consent form in October 2025, they couldn’t make me sign one every time.”

Of course, the effects and side effects would be different. They said they didn’t break medical law. If they say no, then maybe they didn’t, I don’t know.”
Kwon Mina continued to share her emotional distress, saying: “Because of this incident, I started having panic attacks. My mom finally uncovered my face and cried. It hurts so much. I kept apologizing every day while postponing or canceling plans, and I ended up crying.”
He continued, “I don’t know when they’ll finish treating my burns and scars. Having to give up all these opportunities is heartbreaking. Why do opportunities that have never come before present themselves at times like this? I don’t even understand why my life keeps going this way. Is being born a sin?” He added, “I didn’t know severe second-degree burns could hurt so much.”
He also expressed frustration with the legal system, stating: “I am the victim in a case that has been ongoing for over four years. Again, whether it is civil or criminal, I am the victim. At this point, I honestly find myself envying the perpetrators. I wish Korean law would consider the dignity of the victims as much as it considers the dignity of the perpetrators.”
Kwon Mina debuted as a member of AOA in 2012 and left the group in 2019 to pursue acting. In recent years, he has openly shared his struggles, including childhood domestic violence, extreme financial hardship, assault during his youth and alleged abuse during his time as an idol, sparking widespread public concern.
