A major controversy has erupted in the Taiwanese entertainment industry after actress Lin Ni’an publicly accused former GTM boy group member Zhu Yumo (Wish) of violent behavior and a chaotic private life. The allegations, which spread quickly on social media, attracted widespread attention and triggered intense debate among netizens.
The situation began when Lin Ni’an posted a series of emotional messages on Threads, exposing a “A 37-year-old man surnamed Zhu who claims to be a famous artist.” In his posts, he described a troubling pattern of behavior, alleging that he often approached women under the guise of his celebrity status and maintained multiple relationships at the same time. He further stated that his living space and personal belongings were full of condoms, suggesting an extremely active and complicated dating life.
More seriously, Lin Ni’an accused Zhu Yumo of having physical fights with past partners and pressuring women to take contraceptive pills. She also said he refused to publicly acknowledge their relationship, allegedly citing his identity as an influencer with a negative public perception as the reason. To support her claims, she shared partially censored screenshots of TV shows as clues, urging other women to remain cautious.
Following the viral accusations, Zhu Yumo promptly responded through his agency, confirming that he was the person mentioned in the posts. He admitted that the two had “attempted to date” but ultimately they found themselves incompatible. He expressed his apologies for any distress caused during their relationship and wished Lin Ni’an well moving forward.
However, Zhu Yumo also strongly denied any false accusations, stressing that he would take legal action if unverified or defamatory claims continued to circulate. His statement did little to quell the controversy, as public opinion remains sharply divided between those who support Lin Ni’an’s claims and those who urge caution until more evidence emerges.
