Recent footage from NCT Taeyong‘s participation in a military event has sparked anger amid concerns for his safety.
In April, Taeyong joined the army.
As part of the Navy Military Band, the idol has made netizens smile as they can constantly receive updates as he participates in special events.
On November 2, Taeyong was at an event, but netizens couldn’t hide their shock when they saw the idol walking and someone approached him and tried to grab his arm. From the look on his face, many assumed that he was a fan who had managed to find a way to get closer to Taeyong. Netizens were furious seeing how the “fan” didn’t think about his limitations but also lack of confidence.

A fan then shared that after the incident, those with Taeyong tried to protect the idol as he walked through the crowd. Netizens praised those who helped him, but also responded to the fan who did not respect Taeyong’s boundaries.
