FTISLAND agency FNC Entertainment has been confirmed to launch its first boy band in 10 years.
On December 20, The Fact reported that FNC will debut a new boy band. The agency said: “We are currently preparing to launch a new band called AxMxP next year, building on our proven skills and expertise in band production, which have been honed for a long time.”
The agency added: “We plan to showcase AxMxP’s distinct musical colors through quality music and their impressive skills, which will highlight the charm of each band member.”
The announcement was also accompanied by the reveal of the boy band’s social media accounts. On their official SNS, the band’s logo was revealed, and based on the current feed, the members have already posted their daily updates.
The band name AxMxP is also an abbreviation for amplifier, which served as inspiration for the band’s determination to raise their voices and reach a wider audience. The members of AxMxP will also reflect this goal in their team name, showcasing the band’s identity and telling their story through their discography.
Furthermore, before the debut, the band plans to join the 2024 “LOVE FNC COUNTDOWN” concert, which will take place at Sejeong University, Seoul.
The fact that FTISLAND has become one of the biggest bands in Korea has led fans to anticipate what AxMxP would release over time.
