“Doubt” received this honor at the Kim Soo-hyun Drama Art Hall, the only dramatic literary center in the country operated by the Cheongju Cultural Industry Promotion Foundation. It was named “Drama of the Year 2024”, consolidating its artistic value.
The award evaluates dramas broadcast on terrestrial, general and cable networks based on themes, narrative and direction. “Doubt” stood out among 75 dramas broadcast between November 2023 and November 2024, taking the award in the serialized drama category.
The judges praised “Doubt” as “a work that deeply explores fundamental human issues while conveying a meaningful message about trust and ethics.”
“Doubt” describes the dilemma faced by South Korea’s best profiler when he discovers his daughter’s secret linked to a murder crime.
“Doubt” opened with a 5.6% viewership rating and ended with a series high of 9.6%, earning widespread acclaim.

The success of “Doubt” didn’t end there.
It also won the Grand Prize at the Broadcasting Works (Content) Awards hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT and organized by the Korea Communications Agency (KCA). The judges recognized it as the most creative and well-executed work of the year.
Additionally, the drama swept the top categories at the Korean Television Producers Association’s Grimae Awards, taking home awards for Best Film, Best Director, Best Editing and Best Actor/Actress.
“Doubt” also topped the “Series of the Year 2024” list, ranking first among the top 10 series.
Director Song Yeon-hwa and actors Han Suk-kyu and Chae Won-bin were individually honored, further solidifying the drama’s overall excellence.
