On August 28, G.na published on its social media, writing, “Hi, it passed a little” together with a new photo. This marks his first personal update in almost a year. Previously, he raised concern among fans with a cryptic message that read “Goodbye, world”triggering concerns about his well -being.
G.NA was sentenced to a fine in 2016 for having undertaken prostitution abroad. She was accused of having received 35 million KRW after having sex with a Korean-American businessman in Los Angeles in April 2015 and subsequently 15 million KRW from another businessman in Korea in the same year.
Although he denied the accusations, claiming to have consensual relationships with men, the Court rejected his defense. He was fined 2 million KRW under the law of Korea on prostitution and the solicitation, after which he stopped his entertainment career.
Before the scandal, G.NA had been at the height of his popularity with successful songs such as “I’ll lose myself, go on your way”, “Black & White”, “Top Girl”, AND “The secret of G.NA.” Since then, he has lived a quiet life in Canada.
