A growing controversy is rocking the fifth generation K-pop scene as former izna member Yoon Jiyoon becomes the subject of serious allegations made by an individual claiming to be a former trainee.
The claims first surfaced through viral social media posts, in which the anonymous user claimed to have trained alongside Yoon Jiyoon during his time under The Black Label. The posts quickly gained traction, attracting the attention of online communities and sparking widespread debate.
According to the allegations, Yoon Jiyoon was involved in numerous theft cases during her internship period. The items mentioned included luxury fashion pieces such as Chrome Hearts clothing, BAPE products and Celine sunglasses, which reportedly belonged to MEOVV’s Gawon, which was also forming under the same label at the time.
Screenshots of alleged direct messages between interns circulated online, further amplifying the claims. In these messages, the accuser described incidents in which Yoon Jiyoon would take items without permission and display questionable behavior towards fellow trainees.
In addition to the theft allegations, the posts also detailed alleged attitude problems. The accuser said Yoon Jiyoon gave orders to other trainees despite hierarchical differences, speaking in a tone perceived as authoritative rather than friendly.
“Most of the interns didn’t like him… that’s a fact,” one message read, suggesting that tensions within the intern group were widely known.
One of the most serious allegations involved an incident with a new iPhone reportedly given to izna members as a debut gift. The accuser claimed that Yoon Jiyoon attempted to take the unused device from another member but was caught, leading to a breakdown of trust within the group.
The posts also claimed that these cumulative problems contributed to her departure, claiming that she was “kicked out” rather than leaving voluntarily. It has also been suggested that she was eventually blacklisted by both The Black Label and WakeOne, although no official confirmation has been provided.
As the controversy spreads, reactions among netizens remain divided. While some express shock and disappointment, others urge caution, pointing out that the allegations are based solely on anonymous claims without verified evidence.
