On May 25, Stray Kids Jyp Entertainment released an official statement through the social media channels of Stray Kids, revealing that Felix for children Stray Stray had a recurring back pain. The agency said that while the artist received rehabilitation treatment and managed daily activities without important problems, the recent tension on the back has led to an increase in discomfort, arousing further medical care.
According to JYP, large discussions were held between Felix, medical professionals and agency. Based on medical advice to minimize the tension and the strong desire for Felix to remain on stage, it was collectively decided that the performance will proceed as expected. However, some parts of the choreography can be adjusted according to Felix’s physical condition at the time of each show.
The agency assured the fans, stating, “Our company is collaborating with the professional medical staff to manage the artist’s health during both national and international times. Also during the tour period, we will give priority to the artist’s health, we will make our best to ensure sufficient treatment time and make every effort for the care of Felix and the ready healing.”
In response to this statement, Felix’s fans flooded social media with support messages, wishing him a rapid recovery and expressing admiration for his dedication to execution despite the pain.
In the meantime, stray children are currently in the middle of their ambitious “dominate” World Tour, which covers 34 cities globally since it started in August last year.
