Fans have boycotted the group since the first accusations.
Fans have expressed concern about MADE IN following allegations of sexual assault against the CEO of their company.
In November 2024, it was reported that ex-MADE IN‘S Gaeun she was allegedly sexually assaulted by the CEO of her company. In damning testimony, it was alleged that the CEO tried to obtain sexual favors from her after she attempted to leave the group.
I told him that it was my wish to leave the group after the round of activities [we were doing]. He asked that if he granted my wish, would I also grant his wish? He wanted me to be his girlfriend for a day.
He asked me if he could kiss me, but then he grabbed me and forced me to kiss him. I kept my mouth closed, but he suddenly forced his tongue in and continued kissing me, he also licked my neck and ears.
I was so focused on protection [down here] but he said move my hands and continued touching me.
He asked “can I touch your breast?” and “can I touch your butt just this once?”
I said no, but he continued doing it for two hours.
— Presumably Gaeun
Gaeun has since left the group, as the company has continued to deny allegations of sexual assault. The accusations made against the CEO also included another member, who he was accused of “being in love with”.
The CEO revealed that he had repeatedly confessed his love to another MADEIN member
Fans have expressed concern for the group following the allegations, but recently had another cause for concern involving a member Mashiro.
Mashiro recently held a live stream and viewers noticed that the idol had a lot of bruises which fans say have no plausible explanation involving the group’s choreography. After a commenter mentioned a bruise on his arm, Mashiro covered it with an armband.
These bruises have sparked concerns amid a boycott, as fans demand answers from the company.
Madein doesn’t have a single choreography that justifies Mashiro being hurt like this. I’m seriously concerned that these are clearly not dance-related bruises pic.twitter.com/NrMUVhm6IZ

While maintaining the boycott, we sincerely ask for your help in sending mass emails to the company regarding Mashiro’s well-being.
As you can see, in her most recent stream, she appeared with bruises, which is deeply concerning for her health. Unfortunately the company is… pic.twitter.com/497RuJjcLZ
