He recently had the chance to perform NCT Dojaejung“Perfume” al Global Music Bank Festival in Japan.

After the show, he revealed behind the scenes of how he prepared for the stage.

“I just monitored the stage right now. I can’t believe I managed to do Doyoung, Jaehyun and Jungwoo sunbaenimit’s the song. I felt really proud, and our Zerose probably didn’t expect it since it was a surprise special test. I would literally sing the song every time I opened my eyes. That’s how hard I prepared. I also watched other stages of “Perfume” and I don’t know if I was just a fan or preparing for the stage while watching it.

I recorded Doyoung’s part and it made me realize how much I need to practice singing. There were a lot of details that I missed because I had to record quickly before going to our concert. I regretted some parts, but thought I could make up for it through performance and added some light scolding in between.

I also asked for the outfits in advance to try to make the most of them. I personally felt like there was still so much more I could have done, and I felt some regret while tracking, but regardless, I’m so proud and can’t put into words how much Zerose loved the stage.
