While BTS’s Jimin approaches his military discharge on June 11, 2025, fans all over the world are organizing celebratory events to honor his service. In Yeoncheon, where Jimin was room, the fans groups started various support activities.
The Fan Union “Park Jimin Preservation Society” launched bus ads that take place from 1 June to 30 June, covering the jeongok routes to Yeoncheon and the military base. In addition, from 30 May to 11 June, they plan to show 100 sets of banners. Another group of fans, “Jimin Apple Music Team”, in collaboration with Fan -International Fan such as “Pjm Hungary” and “Team Jimin Australia”, will install 230 set of banners. They also plan to hang big signs on the only pedestrian overflow of Yeoncheon from 5 to 11 June, with messages like “we waited for this day when Jimin comes to catch ♡” and “we are proud of you! Welcome back, jimin! ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡
Previously, the “Jimin Apple Music Team” implemented the “Jimin Mini Stop” project, establishing a mini bus stop near the Jimin military base, providing a rest point for local soldiers and residents. The bus stop has a parking sign on the bench and bus, which symbolizes Jimin, and was well accepted by the local community.
Jimin has been recognized for his exemplary military service. He received the praise of the commander of the division for best trainee during basic training and was selected as “elite soldier” last June, leading to an early promotion. It is scheduled to be discharged on 11 June 2025.
