This is not the first time fans have denounced Yuta’s treatment.

Over the past year, several members of NCT have released solo music, both singles and albums. Taeyong was the first to release his solo album, followed by Doyoung, EARTHAND Jaehyun.
While many fans were thrilled with the group’s release of such diverse music, some felt that SM Entertainment did not treat all members equally in their promotions. In particular, fans have pointed out problems with the promotions of Yuta’s solo albums.
After Jaehyun’s release Jthe digital version of Yuta Depth was released on October 3. Two days later, his Japanese solo debut and presentation tour, Hope, start.
Many fans had requested SM Entertainment to promote Yuta’s release and tour NCT’s accounts more often during the pre-release period, but recent actions have revived the complaints.
Usually, when a member of NCT releases music, the group’s accounts will change to reflect this. However, even after the release of Depththe account is left with a layout promoting Jaehyun’s Jand later changed to reflect the idol’s next single “Unconditional”.
Fans also noticed differences in the promotion on the group’s Instagram accounts. Many pointed out that Yuta’s solo tour announcement received a single post, while Jaehyun’s fan concerts received two different spreads of 12 posts.
It was also pointed out that this happened with teasers for Yuta’s next physical album, with the idol once again receiving single photo posts.
Fans don’t blame Jaehyun for the difference in promotion, but they specifically accused SM Entertainment of preferential and unfair treatment.
I have to say though… the official deal that changed the layout for this single and never changed it for Yuta’s entire mini album and showcase promotion is giving me the worst 😕

it’s exhausting to repeatedly see how little SM values Yuta over its members when they profit from him. their name is on his album, not just AVEX, so they are actively making money from tours, merchandise, magazines, etc. still sold out, but they can’t even give it a layout change??

sm they are so shameless. they couldn’t change that stupid layout for Yutas ALBUM, no matter how much we begged them. but they changed it in the blink of an eye with a fucking single. they don’t even try to disguise their indifference and favoritism. all I want is for Yuta to go away
