Recently, HJ Evelyn posted a new video on her YouTube channel titled “Eat ONLY Korean Convenience Food for 24 Hours! (we have been hit by hate crimes),” which has garnered 1.4 million views as of this writing. Now a video clip has been circulating on social media.
While the sisters filmed a mukbang at a convenience store in Korea, a woman continuously harassed them. Initially, he told them to speak softly and asked if they were filming there. But it didn’t stop there. He raised his voice, calling them “bitches,” “beggars,” “broke,” “Chinese,” and more. They believe it was a racist/xenophobic attack, as the woman thought they were not Korean.

Followers and non-followers alike were shocked at how much the incident escalated and continued for so long without staff or other customers getting involved. Netizens praised the Ha sisters for how they maturely handled such an unpleasant and dehumanizing situation.
Although the Ha sisters were victims, they still managed to cope with a good attitude, even attempting to give the woman the benefit of the doubt. They were worried that she was having a hard time at work and that she was sick, drunk, etc.
