In a recent episode, Stephen Colbert, who focuses primarily on US news and politics, touched on international news with his world-focused segment, “What’s Going On Over There?” This focuses on global news that Americans might find shocking, strange, etc.

When Stephen Colbert read the news from South Korea, he reacted to the news that BTS Suga “He apologized for riding an electric scooter while drunk.” On September 30, the Seoul Court issued a summary order fining ₩15 million KRW (about $11,200) for drunken driving. Previously, Suga was charged with driving an electric scooter while under the influence, as his blood alcohol level at the time was 0.227 percent, and his license was revoked.
