Did you know that January 9th is a special day for ARMYs to celebrate BTS‘S Jungkook?
The day, called “Jungkook Day” or “JK Day”, dates back to 2018. In BTS’s 2018 Season Greetings calendar, Jungkook marked January 9 as “Jungkook Day”.
He also wrote a specific message for ARMYs to explain what they should do on this special day.

He chose this day (9/1) because it is the opposite of his birthday, September 1 (also known as 1/9).
He even celebrated the special occasion online, posting a commemorative tweet.
ARMYs celebrated this year with special hashtags and phrases, including #NeverLetJungkookGo and HAPPY JK DAY 2025.
