DO’s contract with the Soosoo company expired earlier this month, MyDaily reported on Nov. 4. He decided not to renew, marking the end of their professional relationship.
In November 2023, DO signed with Company Soosoo, a company founded by former SM Entertainment manager Nam Kyung Soo. Although the two have worked closely together for two years, DO has now chosen to take a different path. Several management agencies have reportedly contacted him and he is currently carefully considering his next move.
Despite the expiration of the contract, the Soosoo company will continue to manage DO’s ongoing activities. He is currently on his second solo concert tour, FOUL!which includes several stops throughout Asia. The tour will conclude with performances in Seoul at Korea University’s Hwajeong Gymnasium on December 6 and 7, with the Soosoo company supporting him until then.
Debuting with EXO in 2012, DO began his acting career in 2014 with the SBS drama Okay, this is love. He later starred in successful projects such as 100 days my prince, Bad ProsecutorTHE Together with the Gods movie series, Swing for childrenAND Secret: melody never told. He is ready to show a new side in the upcoming Disney+ series The manipulatedwhere he takes on a villainous role, out November 5th.
