Baekhyun officially named these third-generation boy group members as idols with “Golden Retriever” energy on a talk show. The revelation also led fans to express their excited reactions on social media.
Baekhyun appeared on the eighth episode of “Donor-hyeong” earlier on September 5. During the episode, the “Pineapple Slice” singer was asked if he had met an idol with a similar personality to his or someone with the energy of a “Golden Retriever.”
“Golden Retriever Energy” is a well-known term on the Internet, used to describe someone who is playful, lively, and approachable. Baekhyun responded that the two idols who fit the category are none other than GOT7 members Jackson and BamBam!

“I make friends easily, but I don’t just walk up to someone and say, ‘Oh hello! I’m a big fan of his. But Jackson! GOT7 has BamBam too!
When they first saw me, they were like, ‘Hyung! You’re so cool!’ It made me think, ‘Do I know these guys?’ They’re huge golden retrievers. If you see them like that, you can’t hate them. I like that.”
