Former T-ARA Areum‘s now-deleted Instagram update hinted at problems in her current relationship.
On June 3, 2024, Shipping revealed that allegations that Areum had abused her son had been forwarded to prosecutors. According to the Gyeonggi-do Gwangmyung Police Department, Areum is accused of child abuse, abandonment of a child and drugging of a minor. Areum’s mother is also facing this latest charge.
Previously, Areum had alerted the police that her ex-husband had been abusing her son, which the police had cleared.

On December 3, Areum shared rants on her Instagram account, which were believed to be directed at her current boyfriend and reflected on her ongoing legal issues, while seemingly accusing him of emotional abuse.

The star also shared an update to her Instagram story before deleting her account.
