One of the topics he discusses is the plethora of hateful comments he deals with as a global celebrity. He discusses how he can get into the bad habit of reading their unkind words and crave validation.
I realized how vulnerable and dependent I was on this [online] world and that desire to feel like I want to be loved and understood. I hated this about myself.
