In April 2024, a fan shared a photo of Jake and another ENHYPEN member taking a photo with a hostess and owner of a popular Japanese kyabakura bar.
As a result, Japanese netizens failed to hide their disappointment, leaving harsh comments on Jake and questioning the company for allowing the idols to take such a photo.
Eventually, ENHYPEN agency explained the situation through an interview, saying that ENHYPEN met the landlady for the first time there and didn’t know who she was. They also insisted that the hostess was just among many people who asked for a photo with the members.
