ENHYPEN criticized because 50 people Fansign include 0 Koreans

On November 16 (KST), a topic titled “No Korean wins a slot in this face-to-face fansign” was posted on the Korean forum Instiz, garnering considerable attention.

According to this topic, ENHYPEN’s Yes24 fansign recently revealed its list of 50 winners, but it turned out that all of these 50 people are foreigners, and no Koreans have secured a spot.

While face-to-face K-pop fansigns generally decide winners via lotteries, most retailers often include a mix of Korean and international winners, often to appease Korean fans, who play a large role in the success of K-pop groups pop.

However, this appears to have been abolished in the case of ENHYPEN’s fansign, prompting a strong reaction from the group’s Korean fans, who accuse ENHYPEN’s agency of pandering to foreign fans, especially Chinese ones.
