Emma Stone was declared the most beautiful woman in the world according to the ancient Greek golden ratio of beauty, in a recent scientific study.
As reported by the Daily Mail, Emma Stone ranked first with a remarkable facial symmetry score of 94.72% based on the mathematical principles of beauty established by the Greeks.
“Emma Stone is the winner. She achieved the highest score for her eyebrows at 94.2%, and maintained excellent scores in every category. She boasts a near-perfect jawline at 97% and beautifully balanced lips at 95.6%. Emma took first place thanks to her consistent excellence in every facial metric related to the golden ratio.” said Dr Julian De Silva, head of the London Facial Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery Centre.
Actress Zendaya came second with a match of 94.37% to the golden section. “Zendaya scored extremely well in most areas: lips (99.5%), eyes (97.3%), forehead (98%), but lost points in the proportional spacing between the nose and lips, as well as the shape of the eyebrows,” observed Dr. De Silva.
Following Zendaya, Slum millionaire star Freida Pinto in third place with a total score of 94.34%. Other notable names in the top positions include Jenna Ortega, Margot RobbieAND Beyoncé. Chinese actress Tang Wei he also made the list, adding international diversity to the top beauty rankings.
The golden ratio is a mathematical concept developed by the ancient Greeks and used throughout history to define physical perfection. Leonardo da Vinci famously incorporated this relationship into his icon The Vitruvian Man represent the ideal human form.
According to his principle, the closer a face or body is to the number 1.618 (Phi), the more aesthetically pleasing it is considered.
Last year, Dr. De Silva used the same Greek golden ratio to determine the most handsome men in the world. Actor Aaron Taylor-Johnson topped the list with a score of 93.04%, followed by Lucien Laviscount (92.41%), Paolo Mescal (92.38%) e Robert Pattinson (92.15%).
