The news of the rampant digital sex crimes emerging from South Korea has left the world in shock. Recently, multiple Telegram Korean-based chat rooms have been exposed by South Korean women on social media, with over 212,000 users sharing pornography and personal information of women they know in real life. Some chat rooms also revolve around sharing explicit content involving the mother or sister, which, shockingly, all users agreed upon.
Many of these chatrooms also feature sharing AI-generated deepfake videos of women and girls. We have previously reported on numerous such chatrooms operating in prestigious universities and schools. Apparently, these illegal chatrooms are rampant in all educational institutions in South Korea, and many female students and graduates have unfortunately fallen victim to them.
A “humiliation room” on Telegram with 1932 people in it. The room has various categories such as “cousin room”, “mom room”, “knowledge room”, “big sister room” and “little sister room”. Let’s take a look at what kind of photos are in these rooms. I have censored the underwear and any exposed skin, but left the clothes and blankets on display so you can figure out if you are the victim. If it looks like this is you, please prove it and I will put you in touch with the person who gave the tip.

In light of the current situation, an anonymous group called Squad Data stack has launched a website that contains a database of which schools in Korea have been found to be involved in such chatrooms. The website contains a list of all the schools involved and a map showing where each of these institutions is located located.
At the time of writing, this website listed countless universities, high schools, middle schools, and even six elementary schools. The website is still accepting user submissions, and the number of schools listed in its database is set to increase.
The map also highlighted the worrying concentration of these schools across the country, leaving Internet users shocked and furious.
- “There was a rumor going around among the kids at the school where I work, that the school also had a victim. But I don’t know for sure, because he wasn’t on that list… Anyway. It seems like even the middle school students know everything.”
- “Girls’ high schools have been posting pictures of girls from other schools? I’m shocked because my alma mater is there.”
- “It’s crazy. All the schools in my neighborhood are there.”
- [Responding to comment 103] “They usually steal phone numbers from the academy, add them to KakaoTalk, and then steal profile pictures.”
- “It’s a disaster because of some crazy people.”
- “Wow, our neighborhood is crazy. There are almost no schools, but almost all of them are included.”
- “Does this make sense in this small town? Ugh, this is so frustrating.”
- “Shit. My alma mater’s there, too.”
- “What’s happening in Busan… is devastating.”
- “There are trash people everywhere.”
