Chef Edward Lee said: “In the United States, I participated in various competitive programs when I was young. After those experiences, I didn’t want to participate in another cooking competition. However, when I was invited to this large-scale cooking competition in Korea, I felt honored and wanted to be a part of it.” He explained his reasons for joining the show.
Edward Lee, who draws inspiration from fish when cooking, shared: “Growing up in the United States, I ate a lot of Korean food, along with a variety of cuisines from America to Italy. But I always remembered the flavors of Korea and spent a lot of time trying to recreate them. There are so many different tastes and thoughts, but I always reflect on everything I see, everyone I meet, my life and my story for inspiration. I always come back to the taste of Korean food. The flavors of Korean cuisine intertwine with my soul,” highlighting the roots of his creative cuisine.
In the fierce culinary competition “Culinary Class Wars”, the hidden talents known as “black spoons” challenge the best star chefs, the “white spoons”, in a battle of the culinary ranks. The show is currently available on Netflix.
