SF9 is a boy group from FNC Entertainment launched in 2016. The nonet was doing well, until Rowoon left the team in 2023, followed by Zuho’s departure from the label in January.
While Zuho has made it clear that he will still be active as a member, Fantasy, the SF9 fandom, has expressed their frustration with his frequent cancellation from SF9 programs despite showing his desire to work with them.
While many fans pointed the finger at FNC’s mismanagement, some also blamed the members. Among them, Rowoon received the most hate for leaving the team to become a full-fledged actor, hurting Fantasy greatly in the process.

But in a recent Instagram Live broadcast, Zuho addressed these concerns and comforted fans who still lament what the group has become.
“You guys have your own respective lives as we like each other and if any problems arise between us, how difficult will it be for you,” the idol said.
However, he also defended the members and asked fans to consider their feelings as well as they wait for the day when they can reunite as nine members again.
Zuho was firm in saying that there will always be nine of them, even if Rowoon has left the team for now.
“But it’s not easy for us either. It will be tiring for you, but you know what I always imagine? I try to imagine one day, when the nine of us get together, how amazing it would be, that’s all I think.” I hope. This is what I personally want.”
The idol also suggested fans to stop the hatred towards Rowoon and mentioned the group’s relationship.
“What happened between the members might make you feel sad and upset, but for us, between us, we will forever be nine people… So, don’t hate it so much. We are a family. We are a family and that will never change. “
