On January 1, Mnet Plus released a short video on its official YouTube channel titled “2026 Coming Soon – Let’s Meet Again.” The clip shows an unidentified figure playing a cassette, from which the familiar phrase “Let’s meet again” can be heard, lyrics taken from WANNA ONE’s emotional farewell track “Spring Breeze.”
The song, released before the group’s breakup, symbolized WANNA ONE’s promise to reunite with fans one day. As a result, the teaser immediately sparked excitement among fans, with many interpreting it as a deliberate hint towards a long-awaited return or special project.
Further fueling the speculation, Hwang Minhyun shared the teaser on his personal social media account. His subtle endorsement has left fans wondering whether the suggestion is more than symbolic and whether behind-the-scenes discussions may already be underway.

WANNA ONE was formed in 2017 through Mnet’s hit survival show Produce 101 Season 2, with 11 members: Kang Daniel, Park Jihoon, Lee Daehwi, Kim Jaehwan, Ong Seongwu, Park Woojin, Lai Kuanlin, Yoon Jisung, Hwang Minhyun, Bae Jinyoung and Ha Sungwoon. The group achieved explosive popularity before officially ending activities in 2019 at the end of their contract period.
In 2021, the members briefly reunited for a special stage at the Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA), sending fans around the world into an emotional frenzy. Since then, hopes for another reunion have remained, making the new teaser especially significant.

While no official confirmation has been given, the timing and messages have fans watching closely. If there is a reunion, it would mark WANNA ONE’s most significant return since their farewell, raising anticipation about what form their next chapter might take.
For now, fans are left waiting, keeping a familiar promise: “Let’s meet again.”
