Recently, fans of ESO they enjoyed the group’s solo activities while the members serve in the military.
EXO’s last group return was in July 2023, soon after Kaithe enlistment. Prior to this, the group had never had a comeback with eight Korean members since “Tempo,” which was also the last time all nine members, including Positionthey were on one track (the Chinese version of the song).
For this reason, fans have been waiting a long time for the return of the enlisted members in the hope that a comeback of the group will follow shortly.
EXO DO recently discussed the group’s immediate future, sparking strong emotions from fans.
In an interview for his next film, Secret: melody never told, the idol actor was asked about EXO’s plans as a full group. He replied that they were preparing for it, but that it was unlikely to happen this year.
“We will start preparing and you will be able to see us, so there is no need to worry. […] Not this year right away, but you can meet us as soon as possible. We will start preparing this year taking into account everyone’s individual plans.

With Sehun, the last of the members to be discharged, expected in September 2025, fans were likely anticipating group activities soon after. However, many were grateful for this honest update from the idol and are looking forward to (hopefully) doing OT9 activities in 2026.
