A video titled “The Real Reason Why Yulhee Started Custody Battle: Can She Carry Her Three Children?” was posted on Yang So-young’s YouTube channel “Yang’s Counseling Center”.
Lawyer Yang said: “I was assigned Yulhee’s case. I was contacted by Yulhee’s agency, wondering if it was possible to change the caretaker. I said that while it may or may not be feasible, I advised them to proceed with the case.”
He went on to explain the situation regarding Yulhee and Choi Min-hwan’s custody dispute. Yang noted: “When they initially decided on child custody during the divorce, it appeared that Yulhee intended to place the children in her care soon. I think he has a good chance of winning the case.“
Yang further commented: “After the divorce, Yulhee was actively involved in the children’s lives through scheduled visits and played a significant role in their upbringing. Since she has not been completely separated from the children, I don’t foresee much disruption if she is designated as the primary caretaker.”
Meanwhile, former LABOUM member Yulhee and FT Island’s Choi Min-hwan married in 2018 and had a son and twin daughters. However, they divorced in December last year. On November 4, Yulhee filed for modification of custody, alimony and property division in the Seoul Family Court.
