K-pop continues to grow every year, and 2025 has brought exciting moments for fans around the world.

Many K-pop groups have spent years building their fan base, while others are just getting started. If you’re hoping to explore K-pop music for the first time or are simply looking for a new group to add to your “binge” list, here are our favorites.

BTS

BTS occupies the first position 81 million followers on Spotify. The seven-member group has nearly 25 million monthly listeners. BTS debuted in 2013 and has released numerous full albums and mini albums spanning hip-hop, pop, and R&B. Exclusive releases include the series albums “The Most Beautiful Moment in Life,” “Wings,” “Love Yourself,” “Map of the Soul: 7,” and “BE,” along with hit singles such as “DNA,” “Boy With Luv,” “Dynamite,” “Butter,” and “Permission to Dance.”

Their catalog also includes Japanese releases, repackaged albums and special singles for global campaigns, giving listeners a wide range of songs to explore. The group remains a strong streaming following, with tens of millions of monthly listeners and dozens of songs regularly appearing on global charts.

BLACKPINK

BLACKPINK debuted in 2016 and is known for a compact but very strong discography, built around mini-albums and a few full-length releases. Key projects include “Square Up,” “Kill This Love,” “The Album” and “Born Pink,” with singles including “Boombayah,” “Whistle,” “Playing With Fire,” “DDU-DU DDU-DU,” “Kill This Love,” “How You Like That” and “Pink Venom.”

Many of their major tracks are accompanied by notable B-sides that also get great streaming numbers, making their shorter discography easy to explore from start to finish. In 2025, they continued to tour with a setlist built around these major hits, keeping older songs active on the charts and playlists.

Stray children

Stray Kids, who debuted in 2018, are known for frequently releasing albums and EPs, often with self-produced songs. Their discography includes series such as “I am”, “Clé”, “GO LIVE”, “NOEASY”, “ODDINARY”, “MAXIDENT” and “★★★★★ (5-STAR)”, along with releases from 2024 to 2025 that continued their aggressive sound.

Many albums contain unit songs and experimental B-sides along with title tracks “God’s Menu”, “Back Door”, “Thunderous”MANIAC,” and “LALALALA.”

SEVENTEEN

SEVENTEEN debuted in 2015 and have built an extensive discography across full albums, mini-albums and special releases. Notable projects include “Love & Letter”, “Teen, Age”, “An Ode”, “Heng:garae”, “Your Choice”, “Face the Sun” and subsequent 1920s releases that continued their bright, performance-focused sound.

Each comeback usually includes a title track plus several B-sides highlighting different subunits (vocals, hip-hop, and performance), giving variety to their albums within a single release. In 2025 they remained active in the charts, with brand reputation data reflecting continued public interest in their new songs and ongoing promotions.​

TWICE

TWICE debuted in 2015 and is known for a long list of tracks that helped shape K-pop in the late 2010s and early 2020s. Their Korean discography includes albums and EPs such as “PAGE TWO”, “TWICEcoaster: LANE 1”, “Signal”, “Fancy You”, “Feel Special”, “Eyes wide open” and “Formula of Love”, with songs such as “Cheer Up”, “TT”, “Likey”, “Fancy” and “Feel Special”.

They also maintain a strong Japanese discography with original singles and albums, offering fans multiple language versions and exclusive tracks.

MONSTER CHILD

BABYMONSTER debuted in late 2023 and have focused on building their discography through a strong debut mini-album and a full-length album not long after. Their first mini album set a first-week sales record for a K-pop girl group’s debut with over 401,000 copies sold, led by their debut title track.​

Their first album, “DRIP,” nearly doubled the sales of their debut and added more title tracks and B-sides to their catalog.

aespa

aespa debuted in 2020 and released a mix of mini-albums and singles centered around high-energy title tracks. Major releases include “Savage”, “Girls”, “MY WORLD” and follow-up projects with songs such as “Black Mamba”, “Next Level”, “Savage”, “Drama” and “Supernova”.

The group has released a comeback mini album, Rich manin September of this year, becoming aespa’s first project in collaboration with Capitol Music Group, expanding their promotion into the US market. The mini album contains six tracks, with “Rich Man” as the title song, along with “Drift”, “Bubble”, “Count On Me”, “Angel #48” and “To The Girls”.
