On September 12, actress Jung So-min attended the VIP premiere of the movie “I, the Executioner” (directed by Ryoo Seung-wan), held at CGV Yongsan I’Park Mall in Seoul.
“I, the Executioner” is an action crime drama in which veteran detective Seo Do-chul (played by Hwang Jung-min) teams up with rookie detective Park Sun-woo (played by Jung Hae-in) to hunt down a notorious serial killer. Ahead of the film’s release on the 13th, many stars attended the VIP screening, brightening up the event.
Jung So-min was invited by Jung Hae-in, who she currently co-stars with in tvN’s weekend drama “Love Next Door,” and attended the VIP premiere. In the drama, Jung So-min and Jung Hae-in play Bae Seok-ryu and Choi Seung-hyo, childhood friends who become lovers.
Since Choi Seung-hyo recently confessed his long-hidden feelings to Bae Seok-ryu, the romantic tension between them has reached its peak. On the 11th, it was reported that Jung Hae-in and Jung So-min went for a joint photoshoot, fueling rumors of a romantic relationship.
During an interview for “I, the Executioner”, Jung Hae-in was asked about the rumors of them dating, to which she humorously responded with a “no comment”, adding, “It just shows how good our chemistry is.”
Considering that their romance is deepening in “Love Next Door”, any misstep in the handling of the voice could have interrupted the immersion in the drama. Jung Hae-in handled the situation tactfully, highlighting their on-screen chemistry.
Despite the attention generated by rumors about their relationship, Jung So-min attended the VIP premiere to support her co-star, giving further strength to the event.
