Earlier on November 8, Olivia Marsh, the sister of NewJeans’ Danielle, made her artist debut with her single “42.”
As a result, the female star had an interview with the media site TeenVogue, where she discussed various topics about herself and also her sister Danielle.
However, a remark from Olivia, which apparently referred to the ongoing conflict between NewJeans and ADOR, attracted particular attention.
Specifically, Olivia said, “It’s complicated over there. I don’t even have a complete understanding [of the situation]if I’m being completely honest,” adding“I can’t say much about the situation. I don’t know the details, but I support my sister in whatever she does. All I want is the best for her and I only pray for the girls. I love her to death: she’s my little girl.
On the other hand, HYBE has already faced backlash related to Olivia. At the time, a journalist purportedly affiliated with HYBE wrote an article about Olivia Marsh’s performance in Singapore titled “NewJeans is in turmoil but Danielle’s sister is leaving for an event in Singapore.”
The journalist was quickly criticized, with netizens accusing HYBE of “unfairly dragging Olivia into an ongoing feud with the media.”
