DAY6 are currently trending for their visibility, their comeback, and their latest feat. The band’s new milestone has also sparked reactions online.
On September 4, Korean news agency JoyNews24 published an exclusive report stating that DAY6 is set to hold a concert at Gocheok Sky Dome in December. The reports also caught the attention of JYP Entertainment, who confirmed the news.
“DAY6 plans to perform at Gocheok Sky Dome later this year,” JYP Entertainment shared with Newsen. “We will announce the specific program at a later time..”

Debuting in 2015, DAY6 has come a long way since entering the Korean music industry, gradually increasing the capacity of their concert arenas. Famous overseas bands such as Metallica (2017), Maroon 5 (2019), U2 (2019), and Queen (2020) have performed at the Dome, and DAY6 is set to become the first Korean band to do so.

Previously, on September 2, DAY6 finally released their ninth mini album “Band Aid” and its title track “Melt Down”. Soon after its release, the song took over the national music charts. “Melt Down” earned DAY6 their first Real-Time All-Kill (RAK) result, as the song reached the top spot on other charts such as Genie, Bugs, Vibe, MelOn, and more.
