Many are shocked by its cancellation.
Soloist andaJ (also known as DAY 6‘S Jade) was recently a guest on Zach Sang Show to promote his upcoming EP When it stops raining. The interview was candid, with eaJ speaking openly about his regrets towards his idol, his true feelings about being cancelled from DAY6, past mistakes, and more.

When the interview came out, clips of it circulated on social media, going viral among DAY6 fans. Hearing eaJ open up so candidly brought out a lot of emotions.
🧑🚀 I would try my best to promote the project I was involved in at the time, and an example of that is I had a YouTube channel. And it’s crazy how many obstacles I had to overcome to create this YouTube channel; this was in 2016, when vlogging was just starting to take off. photo.twitter.com/rEEYWYcfc7

This man carries so much guilt over things that (in my opinion) were overblown and it honestly breaks my heart. I’m so happy to see him finally come out the other side 🫶 https://t.co/eaVVGhNSma

Fans are proud of eaJ for speaking his truth. They just wish he didn’t feel so guilty, especially considering how hard he worked as a member of DAY6.
MyDays can’t ignore eaJ’s contribution to DAY6 during his time as a member. He has always loved the group and contributed a lot, constantly promoting it through his personal social media, songwriting, etc.
I say this in the most respectful way possible because all 5 of them are amazing artists both together and individually, but I really miss Jae’s presence, the way he spoke to the crowd and walked freely was so incredible, I’ve never had a concert experience like that https://t.co/0C65KYDCm1

Bro, I don’t even listen to his solo stuff, but the whole Erasure thing is so fucked up considering how much he contributed to the band musically and promotionally https://t.co/Hev1HUZtxk

What I dislike the most is the fact that people are trying to rewrite history. When Day6 wouldn’t have been as successful as it is today if it wasn’t for Jae’s constant exposure and hard work in their most nugu era (2016-2018) https://t.co/BgJyjNpamb

So, it was hard for fans and eaJ to see it erased from the group’s history. Many feel it is so undeserved.
the amount of fans that used to praise Jae for constantly promoting day 6 when their label didn’t do shit for them… how many of you wouldn’t be here without his love for the band. The same love that persists today despite everything that’s happened https://t.co/VZFmsF94df

The other day I told you my simple OPINION, assholes, and I got dragged for it. Now Jae himself said he feels erased from the band’s history. Fuck you all, you horrible, horrible people. photo.twitter.com/jYuZ1ikjlL

both sides have been affected in some way and the only difference is that only one side can speak freely about it

Some fans have confessed that eaJ’s past actions have hurt them. However, we are all human. No one is perfect and free from making mistakes.
I just want to say that we, as human beings, should realize and accept that we all make mistakes. And yes, it is brave to admit them. The next step is to move on, and we deserve that. We deserve to be better, to change, to be happy and to live the beautiful life we have always wanted.

I came across a tweet that said Jae mentions Day6 now because it’s their greatest success. Honestly, it was so disrespectful to both J and the boys. First of all, D6 wouldn’t be where it is now if J wasn’t a part of it.
— rai (@eyesamericano) September 13, 2024
Jae deserves to tell his side of the story. He was part of the band and directly involved in everything, while none of you really know what was going on beyond what you saw online and what you believe. As much as you might want to, you can’t erase that and rewrite history.
— rai (@eyesamericano) September 13, 2024
And to Jae, as Zach said on the show, even though it might still be hard, you shouldn’t be hard on yourself. Thank you for all your hard work, for being brave, and for continuing. I hope you meet a lot of good people along the way who will bring good things to your life and career.
— rai (@eyesamericano) September 13, 2024
If nothing else, this shows how human you are, and there’s nothing wrong with that. You and your music have been a blessing to most of us. While we can’t rewrite history, you still have the opportunity to write your next chapter. So go write a great one! xx

Fans hope eaJ’s interview will open hearts and minds. EaJ still carries pain and regrets.
I don’t care if you’re a myday or a jar or wtv atp, please listen to this with an open heart and an open mind. Throw away any prejudice, animosity or bias you have for 50 minutes and just LISTEN and listen to it for once. https://t.co/zXbi51w9pF

That’s why I’ll always be hateful for how people talk unfairly about Jae. I’ve gotten a much more positive response than I thought I would. I’d like to be that help to clear up some doubts in your head.photo.twitter.com/yn503uV0OA

they never could convince me that Jae left on day 6 on bad terms. girl, i was there when it happened. and they’re all still on good terms so it’s so weird to see some MyDays erase him from history https://t.co/HjKxvdBRDw
