According to an exclusive report from MyDaily on March 1, Danielle attended the Tokyo Marathon held in Tokyo, Japan to support runners participating in the event. She has previously shown a strong passion for running, having been active on the running team “Unknown” together with singer Sean.
Danielle reportedly attended the event to cheer on Sean and other runners. Actor Lee Si Woo was also said to be in attendance. Witnesses noted that Danielle appeared bright and cheerful, smiling and taking photos with fans.
Last December, ADOR announced that it had notified Danielle of the termination of her exclusivity contract, stating: “Danielle is a member of NewJeans and an artist under ADOR, but we have determined that it is difficult to continue working together and have notified her of the termination of her contract.” The agency also added that it intends to hold legally responsible a member of Danielle’s family and ADOR’s former CEO, Min Hee Jin, who it believes bears significant responsibility for the controversy and the delay in NewJeans’ return.
ADOR subsequently filed a lawsuit for damages seeking approximately KRW 43.09 billion (approximately KRW 430.9 billion as reported) against Danielle, one of his family members, and former CEO Min Hee Jin. The case was reportedly assigned to the same panel that previously handled the stock dispute between Min Hee Jin and HYBE.

Meanwhile, NewJeans members Hyein, Haerin and Hanni have returned to ADOR, while Minji is reportedly still in negotiations to return, now in her third month.
As the legal battle continues, Danielle’s public appearance at the Tokyo Marathon has attracted attention, marking a rare sighting amid the high-profile dispute surrounding the group.
